1. Eligibility and Service Area

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site.

At this time, Lightenwells ships only to supported addresses in the United States. We do not currently ship to Canada or other countries or regions.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, and availability on the Site are accurate. However, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

Images may appear slightly different because of display settings. Minor packaging or cosmetic variations may occur from time to time. The product description, selected options, and specifications shown on the applicable product page and at checkout apply to your order.

We may modify, discontinue, limit, or update products at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable law.

3. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Lightenwells products are intended for general wellness and personal-use purposes only.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using a Lightenwells product if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, use prescription medication, have light sensitivity, or have any questions regarding your health.

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical advice because of information available through the Site or use of a Lightenwells product.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order through the Site is an offer to purchase the selected product or products. An order confirmation does not mean that we have accepted your order.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order where we reasonably believe that:

• The order is fraudulent, unauthorized, or suspicious
• There is an error in product pricing, availability, or other information
• The product is out of stock
• The order violates these Terms or applicable law
• The order is placed for unauthorized resale or commercial distribution

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method for the amount paid for the canceled item or items.

5. Prices, Currency, and Payment

All prices on the Site are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated.

All orders delivered to supported addresses in the United States receive free standard shipping. Applicable customs duties and import charges for orders delivered to supported U.S. addresses are included in the product price and covered by LightenWells. Customers will not be required to pay additional customs duties or import charges upon delivery. For shipping details, please review our Shipping Policy. Any applicable sales tax or charge for a selected delivery option will be clearly shown at checkout before payment is submitted.

Payments are processed by SHOPLINE Payments or PayPal, depending on the payment method selected at checkout. Available payment methods may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and PayPal. Availability depends on your device, location, eligibility, and the options displayed at checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping methods, estimated delivery windows, tracking information, and any applicable shipping-related charges are described in our Shipping Policy and shown at checkout where applicable.

Delivery estimates are provided as guidance and are not guaranteed. They may vary because of carrier delays, weather, customs processing, address issues, peak periods, or circumstances outside our control.

If a delivery estimate shown at checkout for a specific order differs from our Shipping Policy, the checkout estimate will apply to that order.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Lightenwells is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or inaccessible delivery information provided by the customer.

7. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Eligible products may be returned within 30 calendar days after the delivery date, subject to the conditions in that policy.

Our usual return destination is in the United States. Please contact us before returning an item. We will provide the specific authorized return address and instructions after approving your request. For eligible non-quality-related returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not charge restocking fees.

For defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped products, Lightenwells will review the issue and provide an appropriate solution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a prepaid return label, collection arrangement, replacement product, replacement part, or refund.

8. 1-Year Limited Warranty

Eligible products are covered by our Limited Warranty Policy.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended home use for one year from the delivery date. It does not cover customer-caused damage, misuse, accidents, unauthorized modification or repair, improper use, cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by failure to follow product instructions.

9. Customer Accounts

You may create an account to access certain Site features, view order information, or manage account preferences.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information and to promptly update it if it changes.

Please use the customer-support contact details in Section 20 if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, or in violation of these Terms.

10. Reviews and User Content

The Site may allow customers to submit reviews, photos, videos, comments, or other content (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you represent that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit it
• It is accurate and reflects your genuine experience
• It does not violate any law, infringe another person’s rights, or contain defamatory, misleading, unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate material
• You do not include personal, confidential, medical, or sensitive information that you do not want to be publicly visible

All reviews and User Content are subject to moderation. We may review, refuse, remove, edit for formatting, or decline to publish User Content at our discretion, while preserving applicable consumer-review rights.

By submitting User Content, you grant Lightenwells a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable right to use, reproduce, display, adapt, distribute, and publish that User Content for operating, promoting, and marketing Lightenwells and its products, subject to applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, product designs, photographs, logos, trademarks, videos, software, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Lightenwells and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Site only for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, sell, or exploit Site content without our prior written permission.

“Lightenwells” and related logos, names, and brand elements are trademarks or trade dress of Lightenwells or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

12. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Site or products for unlawful purposes
• Interfere with the Site’s security, functionality, or operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, copy, or collect Site content without permission
• Submit false reviews, fraudulent orders, or misleading information
• Resell products without our written authorization
• Use the Site in a manner that infringes the rights of Lightenwells or others

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party services, including PayPal, social media platforms, analytics providers, and other external websites.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Except for the express 1-Year Limited Warranty, Lightenwells disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lightenwells and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Site, products, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Lightenwells for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or certain consumer-protection rights.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lightenwells and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, unlawful use of the Site, or infringement of another person’s rights.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to use the customer-support contact details in Section 20 and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the laws of your state, province, or territory provide consumer protections that cannot be waived.

Any legal action arising from or related to these Terms, the Site, or a purchase from Lightenwells must be brought in the courts of Hong Kong, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date.

Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
